Silent Auctions are the BEST!!!

Publix is a grocery chain in the south and they have a department called Aprons that does in store demonstrations of quick and easy meals but they also have a cooking school and I won seats for 2 to the beginner class! YEAH!  So the hubs and I will be attending classes for the next 6 weeks in order to increase our (my) cooking proficiencies. heh.  I'm really excited about the chopping/knives class. Maybe I'll be chopping like Julia Childs at the end!

Talbots: Who knew?

However, my most favorite part is the interview with

at her parents home in Windsor Florida

Ok, not only is she beautiful

and an heiress to the Swarovski crystal fortune

her mother must be amazing.

Why you ask. Because of the 21 pictures in the spread

2 full page photos include her mothers desk + 1 little photo.

How do I know this? Well other than they said it was her parents house

this beyond amazing desk is PINK!

Oh yes. The entire desk is wrapped in pink embossed leather.

If my mom had a giant pink leather desk I would think she was cool too.

I need to stop reading INSTYLE

Once again my hopes are dashed by the retail gods

I saw this in INSTYLE magazine and thought it was tres' chic

so I flew over to KOHLS to pick it up

Silly me thinking an advertised product would actually be at the store, huh

So I went to the online store, uh, none their either

The UPS Man

Last week the UPS man came rang the bell

and went back to his truck

I made it in time for the bendy Butt shot

as he was getting into the truck

When he sat down he turned

and saw me drooling waving

He smiled and drove off into the sunset

Today he droped off the package

RACED BACK TO THE TRUCK

AND SQUEELED OUT OF THE CUL D SAC

Living in Florida has its drawbacks

one of them being there are only 2 H and M's

in the entire state

I became especially upset by this while perusing

this months INSTYLE magazine

I thought this was beyond adorable and totally suited to Florida living

Unfortunately the closest H and M is in Orlando

Nutty, Maybe.....

Getting snail mail is one of my most favorite things.

My mail carrier usually arrives at noon and it is now almost 3pm.

I realized how manic I have become when

1. I started tapping my foot incessantly

2. I checked 3 websites to be sure today isn't some weird holiday

3. I started looking out the window every 5 minutes.

Obsess much? Me? Pfft

GUILT GROUP, yep

I have been a huge fan of Titan Luggage since my trip to Las Vegas 4 years ago. Many of my friends have said "HOW COULD YOU SPEND $500 on 1 SUITCASE!"

My reply had always been "It was cute"

However, i also carry a Hays and after spending 2 hours trying to get through the airport with a broken wheel i will only buy Titan. They have a beautiful glossy finish, come in green and pink (YES!) The wheels have NEVER given me any trouble. They are hardsided so easy to keep clean especially when somone at the neighboring slot machine spills their drink on it and very easy to find if I check my luggage and the best part is they have a lifetime warrenty.

Gilt Groupe has the cosmetic case for $95 but it's not the X2 edition so I passed.

Unfortunately I have not been able to turn the hubs to the darkside. But today on Gilt Groupe they are on sale. The $540 computer bag is a mere $135 and it is a manly slate color. So I will not feel guilty about this purchase and I will hide it in my closet till his birthday. :)

I realize there is a chance that he may never use it but it is so super cool, I can't resist. Plus, I could always carry my laptop in it...right?

Homegoods Gods

Since Tickled P&G started doing her Homegoods updates and I had never ventured inside I figured I would go in and see what the rucus was about.... Good Lord....I may have to go back to work now to oay off my VISA bill. hahaaha

I fell in love at firstsight

There was a chair too but it wouldn't fit in my car and I'm not sure how I thought this would get into the house but I had to have it. I ended up asking the neighbor guy to help me in exchange for beer. :) 

That was one of the best lessons learned in College.

Anyhow, the hubs had a carpeted dolly and the neighbor got it in and positioned in about 5 minutes.

Young people  :)

Unfortunately or maybe fortunately the hubs hasn't noticed it yet.

Wait till I have it all decked out.

Hopeless Cook

I have never been a good cook. I don't have the patience.

So when I saw one of my girlfriends had become a fan of Dinner Done I checked it out.

I am SOLD with a capitol S.

Not only do they make a great meal that I can pop in the oven and forget till the timer goes off

but they now offer free delivery to my area on the 3rd Weekend of the month.

The food is delish.

I can go and make it at their place

or they can make it for me for an additional $1.75

and if they make it for me I can get it delivered free.

OMG, this is the best invention ever.

Little People are SO FUNNY!

I met this little person today and he asked me
"Don't you hate it when poop sticks to your butt?"

I wasn't sure how to respond and the parent was speaking to the hubs
so I said, "Yes, I do."

He says, "Me too...so I just shake it till it falls off."

I should have asked where he does this shaking but I was choking on my soda.
